"The Fionavar tapestry" by Guy Gavriel Kay
It's from that book that I take my login and my signature.
It's a trilogy about five student of toronto who travel to fionavar, an heroic fantasy univer.
the mythologie and the world create by the author are just perfect, the character of Paul (Pwyll in fionavar) is amazing, and so and so ...

You should try it, I bet you'll love it.

Well, I'm at an Animorphs forum...
It's Animorphs and since I'm an ignorant and stupid young lady... Goosebumps.
And also MACARTHUR.
Unique individualities. Are forgotten.

A wrinkle in time
It was just really beautifully done, to bad the prequels weren't nearly as good.
Truth is only stranger then fiction if you're a stranger to the truth. Which means you're either a liar or fictional.

Other than animorphs, I'd have to go with the Lord of the Rings. It's absolutely classic. The Giver is good as well. I'd also recommend the Game of Thrones series for anyone that hasn't read them yet, as well as The Rising by Brian Keene.
