I really like all of them, but my personal least favorite was "Goblet of Fire", mainly because it felt too episodic. I recall not being nuts about "Chamber of Secrets" the first time I read it, but I like it more now.

chamber of secrets was my least favorite. I used to hate #5, but the more i read it, the more i like it. I love Umbridge in the sense that she's great to hate.

Re: Worst Harry Potter book?
Personaly, I just couldn't STAND 6 and 7.
I mean, the 6th was sorta useless, pretty depressing, and basicaly pretty boring as well. And the 7th, excuse me for saying so, was just a waste of paper. I mean, come on! So cliche. Not to mention
Don't misunderstand me, I love bear a childhood-anchored liking towards* the Harry Potter books. That's just the reason I'm so mad about how it all ended. Big deception there
And on this cheerfull note, I wish you all a good day and go to sleep
*2.2.10 edit. I decided to reread the series from a mature point of view. Thank god for that.
The whole series seems like a comic book, not like something to be taken seriously. A TV cartoon, or a funzy, as someone once called them.

my least favorite HP book was goblet of fire... it seemed to drag on way too long... and that whole yule ball chapter was extremely unnecessary...

Re: Worst Harry Potter book?
I started boycotting at book six, and haven't managed to read more then a few chapters, and lots of plot spoilers online. Never even looked at book Seven outside of online spoilers and info. I just couldn't stomach the books after number 3, and number five took away the only reason I was still reading them after book four anyways.
I smile because they haven't found the bodies yet.

Re: Worst Harry Potter book?
As you all know, I despise them all with a passion. Book 6 I call the worst only because it was the official low point of the series, as it had all of the qualities I hate about the series in the 2nd greatest quantity. The only one more disgusting was book 7 (the only reason I hate 6 more was that 7 had that feeling of relief you get when something horrible finally comes to an end). The series got progressively worse and worse the longer it dragged on.

Re: Worst Harry Potter book?
Book 7; She tried to do way to much in 1 book. It started to feel like an animorph book (not that its a bad thing, but its very different from the rest of series) with so much action that I felt rushed when reading it. She could have easily split it into 2 books and still would have enough material to make them shine.
