Scholastic can't make and give you downloads of library of Animorphs books. It's illegal. :?
Think of it in this way, you want to buy an Animorphs book from a bookstore. Then you download that ebook, read it and think, "Cool! Now that I've read the ebook, there's no need to buy the book". So, actually, the ebooks are making you not buy the books, which is piracy. We are actually preventing K.A. from making money. :(

So, if you wanted to buy the books before getting the ebooks, go ahead and buy it.

But then, you don't even get the books in print now! They shouldn't be so selfish! :x

It really isn’t fair. If they’re not going to publish the books, they should make them public domain or something. Or at least they could sell the ebooks online.

Yeah, and I remember KA saying she was OK with the eBooks, but Scholastic wouldn't like it...

So, even if K. A. wants to make it public domain, her hands are tied, I guess...

But if Scholastics doesn’t publish the books, then they aren’t losing any money if we distribute free ebooks, right? I mean, it’s not like we’re taking away from their potential sails or anything.

Yeah, you're right. But they still have the rights over the books. And we are helpless if they sue us. But the possibility of that happening is remote.

Where did you read that ? If only more authors could think the same... "if it doesn't sell, give it for free".
