<Not really. Save these for last. They are hardly worth it if at all, the first one even more so.>

Complete bananas. So bananas, I chose completely wrong and ended up as a casualty right there.
Bad ferret lady.
Bad ferret lady.
But it breaks my heart.

Wow, Alternamorphs, THAT was different. It certainly would've been nicer to see a few branches of the story unfold a little longer than like a page, even if you ended up dead.
I didn't actually realize there was a second one (I got my Animorphs books in the mail in groups of 3s from a Scholastic book-order "club", but it only lasted 12 months, so it ended in the #30s - I had to go on an adventure to find most of the rest.... I didn't know to look for that one)

For those of you who are interested in this book, CYOA adventures, or even the effect of Anmorphs on our everyday lives, check this video by PopArena out. Make sure you have subtitles turned on, and a couple hours to spare.

Well, it's just entertainment, folks.

<Maybe some of us should write some fanfics about what happens if you take some of those dead end choices and don't die right away, maybe some of them even split off.>

Re: Alternamorphs 1: The First Journey
I'm reading the series by publication date. The list supplied in the Q&A Forum didn't have these books, so I took my best shot and read it after #27. By that I mean I skimmed it and went to the choices to see how bad they were. After that, I read the Cinnamon Bunzuh review.
I'm way more active on RAF. If you want to contact me, go there.

Re: Alternamorphs 1: The First Journey
I obviously didn't have as much of a problem as everyone else did with the Alters, though I suppose that is because I skimmed them and then used them as inspiration for my self insert fanfiction that never got posted anywhere because 11 year old me couldn't write to save his life. If I read them again I would probably hate them the same as everyone else, I hate being railroaded.

Re: Alternamorphs 1: The First Journey
Ehhhh. If you've already read the whole series and just want something, anything more, sure. But it isn't that great as Animorphs or as a Choose-Your-Own.kmc1987 wrote:is the alters worth the read ive tappled into choose ur own a few times with mix results
Too many immediate dead ends. Not really much branching.
