How often should we post a new book of the week?
<Should it be every week?>
<Every other week?>
<Every three weeks?>
<I was thinking of putting a poll here, however it seems to me that this is something that could change over time and we really only need to pay attendance to the most recent posts on this topic.>

I think every 2 weeks would work, since that would give people who don't visit that often a chance to discuss the most recent book without having too much of a wait in between books.
Also, I think after the David trilogy, we should have a retrospective topic on it in order to discuss those three books in general, since they were so important to the plot, the fans, and Animorphs in general.

Animorphs: The Abridged Series. Post there so I'm not lonely.
So just shut your face and take a seat, 'cause after all, we're just talking meat. And music?
Well, it's just entertainment, folks.

<I don't think a retrospective "David trilogy" topic is needed, there is lots of time for that in the talk about the three books.>
<So this week and next week I host book 20, then the two weeks after that guitarhero01234 will host 21, then the two weeks after that guitarhero01234 will host 22, then the two weeks after that I will host 23.>
<Unless someone gives us a good reason to do differently.>
<This will also give us hosts plenty of time to re-read the books and write our reviews and not feel rushed at all.>
<I think this will work out nicely.>
<For those of you reading this who don't know our arrangement, Yes that means that he does two of the David trilagy, but that was going to happen anyway, that one of us would do two. Yes he is doing two books in a row, and that didn't have to happen, but trust me, by the time we get to book #54 both of us will have reviewed the same number of books.>

Oh, OK. I guess I'll post #21 next week then?

<Looks like it, at least until we get calls for posting more often, probably when more users have access to the forum.>

Actually TM, you shouldn't post at all. You already have about a third of the posts on this place as it is.

I think every other week is best since it would keep it progressing without feeling rushed. And I can catch up sooner.

2.70% of all posts. A significant number, but nowhere near 1/3. That is what it seems like, though.Visser_5.1 wrote:Actually TM, you shouldn't post at all. You already have about a third of the posts on this place as it is.
I think every other week will work pretty well. Maybe I'll actually start writing my own descriptions for the books now. Actually, I think I'll get started on the next one tonight.

<Actually that can't happen unless I do a lot of double posting. Even if I was on at the same time as someone else and I posted on every topic that I wasn't the last person to post on, and this other person only posted on topics where I was the last person to post...
Or we picked one topic and kept going back and forth on it...we would each eventually have about 49.999% of all posts, with all other posts growing to a smaller and smaller percentage.>
