I guess this might be of interest to anyone who read Neomorphs (this installment in particular):
There is a new adaptation of the story of the Three Kingdoms (The story of Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Zhou Yu, etc.); it's called 'The Advisor's Alliance'. It focuses mainly on the kingdom of Wei, reigned by Cao Cao, a figure often referenced and alluded to in Neomorphs. The actor who portrayed Liu Bei in the 2010 adaptation plays Cao Cao here, and Sima Yi's wife is portrayed by the amazing Liu Tao.
Big big Kudos to capnnerefir btw, for stirring up the interest for chinese culture and literature in me! Thinking back, this particular installment is what got me started wiht chinese literature and tv shows. I remember googling the battle of Chi Bi (Red Cliff) and then watching John Woo's movie adaptations after reading this. And look at me now, I've read the 4 classical novels and most of Jin Yong's works in translation, and starting mid of next month I'll be studying sinology at the Free University in Berlin

"Yes," he said. "You were brave. You were strong. You were good. You mattered."
