Hm, I should add Misfits to my list of faves. The premise isn't totally original (gaining supernatural powers by freaky circumstance sounds like a cross between Heroes and the Fantastic Four) and it's on the soft side of the scifi scale, but OH THE DELICIOUS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. The characters are so wonderfully flawed and it makes for some great drama. I'm still on series 1 at the moment, but I'm hooked!

Yes I know that's almost only SciFi shows. And I just started the star trek universe, it's probably going to enter my top five.
I'll also like V (both of them) and battlestar galactica
On the other hand, even if I like the stargate universe, I'm not a huge fan.
Stargate, Star Trek, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Sanctuary, Terra Nova, Buffy.

Favorite Live Action show (at the moment) Sherlock/Doctor Who/Criminal Minds/Eureka/Warehouse 13
Favorite Live Action Show (foreign) Detective Conan
Favorite Us/Canadian animated show Jem and the Holograms (tied with G.I. Joe/Transformers)
Favorite Foreign animated show: Detective Conan (655 episodes and going strong!!!!)
Past and Cancelled shows that I still love include!!!!!
Firefly, Buffy, Angel, Dollhouse, The first two Stargate series (SG-1 and Atlantis Rodney is <3), Battlestar Galactica Helo is also <3 and just about any show that was on Nickelodeon in the early to late 90s....those shows know what they are! LOL. Batman the Animated Series is also one of the best cartoons EVER!!!!! Along with Animaniacs and Tiny Toons, and Ahh Real Monsters and Angry Beavers and....I'm just going to stop before I name all the nicktoons that aren't Korra (which is also <3)
