Half Life and it's sequels
So I played through half life 1 years ago. I also played through blue shift and opposing force (the spinoffs). And just recently I finished half life 2, episode 1, and episode 2.
So I love this series. The scary parts still scare me, and it's got great pacing. Can't wait for HL2 Episode 3 to come out. My favorite part was fighting my way trough the citadel in HL2.

Sorry, but I don't play video games very often.
Board games are great and people are losing touch with the world around them by not playing them more often.

Vote for me! I will fix everything, giving everyone health care, food, a home with high speed internet and a good paying job, & kill everyone who makes more then $1 million per year &give their money to the poorest 10%.

Re: Half Life and it's sequels
Half-Life is probably the best FPS game I ever played. It's just so, perfect. :D I can play them again and again. And again.
Me too can't wait HL2E3 to come out. And neither Black Mesa mod, unofficial but well-done HL1 fan remake on source engine.

I recently received a Black Mesa coffee mug from think geek. While I was at it I grabbed an aperture science mug too.

The only one I played was the one that came in the Orange Box...
Had it on PS3...loved the game, but just couldn't bring myself to finish it due to the myriad issues that came along with the crappy port...

I never managed to play through the campaign of a full HL game, but the multiplayer of Counterstrike, Day of defeat, HL2 deathmatch and team fortress was incredible fun- lots of good memories...
And their cracked versions work fine on old computers so they're still good for a LAN.

Half Life is just just plain amazing. I really don't there's any question that Valve is the best at what they do. I mean...HL, Portal, L4D are all fantastic, and even the unofficial stuff is amazing. Age of Chivalry FTW.

Re: Half Life and it's sequels
Animorphs (or a basic melee version with particular morphs set in weapon slots with simple morphing animations) would actually make a decent team-based HL mod, like CS. I suggested something like that over in Animorphs Discussions but the world doesn't seem to agree.
I'll stick to my Dragonball Z mod for now.
