Okay, I know someone has got to be lying and their first game was something pirated they picked up off the street corner =p
Epsilon IV the greatest game of its time for the Commodore 64.
Yes the Commodore... unlike most here I didn't believe in waiting until (fourth) generation.
Spencer
Rayman is fun... I never finished it either though I made it pretty far before losing it at this one particular boss despite having a plethora of continues; I was not too thrilled.

Definitely Streets of Rage on the Genesis. I played that game nonstop for months. If I wasn't in school, I was playing that game.

I've thought about it and I lost my gameginity to peak-a-boo.
I played it when I was about a day and a half old.
Beat that losers!

Can't remember. It was some game on DOS. It's a shame that I don't remember the names of those games anymore, it would be nostalgic to play them again. Super Mario and Duck Hunt on NES was also one of the first games I played, but not the very first.

Super Mario Bros was the very first game I've played... The very first game I've truly lost my 'gameginity' to was Sonic the Hedgehog 2 at the house of my favorite relatives. (I know of this one cousin who has WAY more many video games than I do.) I can replay that anytime I feel like it on the Mega Collection now.

i was 4, i was in my aunts living room, my cousin was playing his brand new Nintendo Entertainment System.
it was a bright sunny day, and i can still see the marquee scrolling across the screen in a big fat brown block.
SUPER MARIO BROS.
the year was 1989. it. was. epic.

It was either the original Civilization, or the original Heros of Might and Magic. The first game I remember really getting into was Neverwinter Nights. Outside of the realm of PCs, it was Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

Todd in Pokemon Snap. That game took me a year to finish the first time. It was hard. *shame*
