Re: Movies based on books
The wolves, at least the grey wolves, are fine. A couple of other speci, like the Mexican Red Wolf, I think, are endangered, though.
Also, the Hunger Games movie wa just as bad a th book, and had obvious CGI, even if the locations were cool.

Whoa, BB didn't like Hunger Games?
Huh.
*shrug* I liked it. For new literature, it was pretty OK. I guess I liked the setting more than the story. After all, that was the selling point for Avatar.

Time is not wasted if you enjoyed what you were doing.

Re: Movies based on books
Books I have read and also seen the movie (or TV show) that it was based on, in random order:
Animorphs (only saw about half the episodes)
The Lorax
War of the Worlds
The Time Machine
The Invisible Man
Gulliver's Travels
The Hunger Games (read all 3)
Harry Potter 1-7 (part 2)
Alice in Wonderland
I, Robot
Peter Pan
The Little Mermaid (Yes, this WAS a book FIRST!)
Jumanji
Zathura
Ella Enchanted
How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Every movie baised off a Dr. Suess book
...and many more.
Books I have NOT read yet have seen the movie, in random order:
The Lord of The Rings
The Wizard of Oz
Twilight 1-4
<Please note that this is only a partial list and I will edit it as I think of more.>
<Please also note that books made from movies are disqualified from these lists, I may see the movie and read the book, however I will not list them unless you ask about it, then I will only tell you that I have read and/or watched it.>
