I don't think its fair to compare the two since Barbie as Repunzel is being made by a toy company, while Tangled is being made by a television and cinema company.

I've only seen parts of Tangled, but it still gets my vote. I've always been very anti-Barbie. The fact that Tangled's heroine can knock people out with a frying pan automatically makes her a hundred times cooler than any Barbie character.
