I haven't seen it and, frankly, the advertisements weren't particularly flattering.

All my friends rave about it, but I've yet to see it. While I do enjoy the story of Alice in Wonderland, it has become like vampires and zombies: bandwagon trend. I'm not opposed to mainstream or anything, but beating a story/genre to death (take Cinderella or Romeo and Juliet for example) makes it less enjoyable. I'll probably end up seeing it eventually, but right now I have little interest.

I haven't seen that movie, either, and probably never will.

I liked the book better.

There's a fair bit in the book that you wouldn't see in the movie.
