Completely agree. In SOME situation, the mass andalite transformation could be effective as a tactical/distraction maneuvre. But undoubtly not very often.

<That is why you should focus on what tasks they are trying to complete and then find the best morph for that job.>
<Never morphed before and need to try something out? Dog, cat or other household pet.>
<Sneak into a meeting of the sharing and listen in? Would a fly, a spider, a hawk, or a dog be the best choice?>
<Want to knock down a wall? Rhino or elephant should be best.>
<Want to fly at night? Owl or bat.>
<Fly long distances? Duck or goose.>
<Want to be able to fly around without anyone noticing that you're even there? Pigeon or seagull.>
<Turn a door knob? Andalite, gorilla, chimp or any other member of the ape family should do the trick.>
<Need to swim a great distance in not a lot of time? Dolphin, whale or shark.>
<Stuck somewhere very, very cold? Polar bear or penguin.>
<For each of these and more ask yourself 'Are there any better choices? Of the animal we think can best do this job do any of us have this morph?' If not, then lets all get that morph.>
<All too often people just say "Hey my favorite animal is the ____, so they should morph that." Yet they don't come up with a good reason the Animorphs would need that morph.>

It's so cool to come back to this forum after a way-too-long hiatus, and see a topic I made in 2012 is still on the first page.
Lots of great answers, guys.

<Some of these ideas are great, others, less so.>
<Hilarious fights are not what we are going for here. We are trying to win a war for the survival of the Human species as something other than a slave cast. I will take a dull win over a hilarious loss.>Tim Bruening wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2019 10:18 pmIIRC, Cassie did in book 25!MunchMuncher wrote: ↑Sun May 27, 2012 12:19 amThey should have morphed a kangaroo, would be a hilarious battle morph.
