It would have been really cool to see them morph a komodo dragon. The reptilian honey badger.

I agree with Octopus. I think they could find some uses for it. They can move in and out of water and they can fit into really tiny spaces. There's also the mimic octopus which can make itself look like other sea creatures which I think would be perfect for the Animorphs.

For intel gathering or infitration morph you could use praying mantis or stick insect....
And PKWonder, really looking forward for your fanfic.... Really like the plot and character overview....
Hopes it'll be finished and hopefully soon....

Snapping turtles. They can swim when they want to, and they're powerful. It would be a useful freshwater battle morph. Plus, I just like turtles, lol.

<Actually Cassie DID morph the kangaroo, and they all did parrot morphs, if only for 5 pages or so. As for the others, some would be more useful than others. For example, Rachel morphs into a waterbear, clearly one of your fav animals, how can she hurt the Yeerks in that form? Cassie is also morphed into a waterbear, how does she use that morph?
For each animal that you think they should have morphed are two things that we should ask ourselves, first "Is there anything that this new animal can do that makes them a better choice than an animal they already have?" for example, Jake has a tiger morph, so he doesn't need a mountain lion morph. There is nothing that Jake can do in mountain lion morph that he can't do in tiger morph. Secondly, "How easy or hard would it be for them to acquire that morph?" If it isn't worth it to them to get the morph then they aren't going to get it.>

And for what reason?

For what reason? Andalites are too noticeable, and haven't got significant advantages.

<Also sooner or later the Yeerks would have realized that all the Andalites looked a little too much alike.>
<A Human looking at a group of Andalites might think that they all look alike, however Visser 3 has an Andalight host, and he can 'hear' the thoughts of that host. As soon as he realized that all the Andalites looked the same Visser 3 would 'hear' it and realize that they are all Andalite morphs.>
<Why would a group of Andalites all morph into the same Andalite?>
<They wouldn't, that means they must not really be Andalites, therefore they must be some other kind of intelligent life form.>
<Of the 900 (just a random number) or so intelligent species in the universe what kind are they most likely to be?>
<We already control all the Hork-Bajir, so they aren't them.>
<Well this planet is full of a species that call themselves Humans, could they somehow be Humans who have the morphing power?>
