and red-headed Amazon parrot, due to personal bias ;)

So far we have (only counting possible morphs in the Animorphs universe, so only animals and aliens, no mythical creatures or vegetables):

1. Giraffe
2. Zebra
3. Tardigrade (aka Waterbears)
4. Narwhal
5. River otter
6. Tiger beetle
7. Sarcastic fringehead
8. Badger
9. Amazon parrot

By the end of the year (and after I finish my reread), I hope to deliver to you my fanfic. The best of these suggestions, with my own preferance and judgment taking precedence, might be featured in my series. We don't actually have to reach 500, but as many suggestions as possible would be appreciated. For those who don't care about fanfics, it's just an interesting topic in general for anyone who enjoyed the animal aspect of the series. It should be safe to assume that anyone who is a fan has some basic interest and knowledge in animals and zoology, and probably would have enjoyed a shout-out to a favorite that was never included ;)

So, yeah, this happened. In the book that I like to pretend doesn't exist.

Yeah, I know, it was a cover morph :P That's why I specified "battle morph", because it could have been used more (though probably not effectively).

Microscopic organisms. Not because it's useful (They'd be killed by the Yeerks with one weapon- Lysol), but because it would be fun. For us, not for them.

Oh Oh I know...what if they morphed electric eels and swam around in the Yeerk pool zapping Yeerks?

PK, you're writing a fan fic? That's awesome! What's it about specifically?

I don't know about that one... if they can't morph plants, why should they be able to morph bacteria? Those are way less closely related to humans than plants are. And I can't think of any good use for bacteria morphs except to survive in space, but they've got tardigrades for that :) Though it would be funny to see Marco's reaction to being told they're going to morph germs.

Octopus would be fun, even though it wouldn't be the most useful. I love cephalopods. :)
