Older Animorphs?

Post by wanheda » Tue Aug 22, 2017 3:03 am

Part of what makes Animorphs so tragic, as an adult, is that they truly are children. Thirteen year olds, we don't even know if they'd all gone through puberty yet! It's hard to comprehend as a kid reading the books, but as an adult I am just ... blown away every time I remember that.

I know they're written for a young audience, but I would love to have another version where they're a few years older, maybe starting when they're 17.

How do you think the series would change if they WERE 17/18? Do you think some of their big decisions would be different?

I am confident that the ways they reach their decisions would be different, but I think that the big decisions would all stay the same.
