I love it, das. Allow me to explain why:

I like to think that there is something primal that follows Esplin no matter what host he's in. Be it Alloran, Aximili, or Imrahil, there's just something about him that lets you know for a fact exactly who you are dealing with. It's a feeling you get from his appearance, no matter the body. It's something in his voice, no matter whose he is using. It is his essential 'Visserness", that air of danger and darkness that just comes with him. This sketch seems to capture that essence. No matter what host that might be, it carries the necessary feeling with it.

I'm looking forward to seeing him in all his glory, blue and even more intimidating. I'm positive you'll do a fantastic job.

Dak-hamee: i think KA made it easy for herself with the description in the books.
Its basically always something like "the ship looked like a cube with triangles and circles on it"
I'm unsure if she ever gave an accurate description for a dracon beam. i think i remember she (or whoever was it at that time) wrote that dracon cannons look like a black pipe or something.
so basically you can draw them all whatever you think they should look like^^

Blueberry chicken: i have to say that getting good postures requires awfully much practice, unless you are a natural born artist, and i am not^^

capn: i just thought that esplin needed some pictures true to the source material. i think even the weird transformer dolls they made had a purple visser 3.

Beckyno1: i'm not really sure when, but more will definitely come. i took a break and began the visser picture because learning is soo boring. next week vacation starts, i usually get bored and start to make more art during vacations.

i guess ill settle for a skull, because i think a bunny would ruin the mood.
also, ive thought about having him wield a lightsaber but decided against it for unknown reasons.

If you didn't know, a zerg rush is in the game starcraft. There is a faction called the zerg who focus on numbers.

Anyway, they build 200 tiny monsters and rush your base with them

I know what a zerg is, Dak. I haven't played the game, but I know of it because I have a couple of those little catalogs you get when you buy World Of Warcraft.

Since your signature has "night elf" in it, I'm guessing you play WoW, too.

well, every time i say i won't do something i do it immediately, so here it is.
i kinda cheated with the red light of the dracon beam but i wanted to get more evilface with it.
i also think that the coloring sucks, but i dont particularly like coloring and i still suck at it.
So, feel free to comment.

That is some really awesome work, I love it!
I also went back over some of the past artwork you did and it's all fantastic!

As far as the coloring goes it seems as if the contrast between the skin and the shaded skin is too high or that the shade of blue is too bright and the Visser is caught in a spotlight.
The hooves look a little bright as well.
It doesn't really detract from the art though which again, is fantastic.
