Who do you want to win in 2012? I Know I'm not voting for what'-his-face. Or miss Shoot-the wolves if she decides to run.

<I have noticed that when it comes to elections in America, we have only 3 choices:
1. Vote for the current president to take up a 2ed term.
2. Vote for someone in "the other party"
3. "Throw our vote away" by casting it for someone who is not a Dem or a Rep.>
<The only time that this is not true is when the current president, whoever that may be at the time, has already served two terms, in that cast THEN we have a choice between Dem or Rep.>
<What I find messed up is that there are 50 people to choose from for Miss. America, and only 2 for president.>
<We should be given a list of 50 people to vote on, and a chart showing everything that they had a chance to vote on in the last 5 years. This chart would show what they voted yes on, what they voted no on, and what they didn't vote on at all.>
<If they didn't vote then it will tell us that they could not vote or if they just chose not to.>
<After all, if I JUST became a congressmen 2 years ago, then I could not vote on something 5 years ago, but if I was out on the golf course last week and missed the vote because I was 2 strokes under par, that is a different matter all together.>

As things are set up right now, only 2 people have a chance to win a presidential election. Unless there's a significant cultural shift in the next year and a half or so, alternate candidates won't have any significant chance of winning. And that's not something you can change by making a list.

I suppose we could, but I don't think we'll solve human-level AI in time for the next election.

<After studying human voting habits, I think that the tallest person will win.>
<This is even more likely if they have "good hair", however a "caucasian male" will have the best chance at winning.>
< Possible due to males being taller then females in the human species.>

Why would we need to? If the robot didn't have it they would be just like normal candidates.Current wrote:I suppose we could, but I don't think we'll solve human-level AI in time for the next election.

miss shoots the wolves is not gonna run.
i like the soft spoken man who if he won in chicago we woulda never heard of the current guy
course you could vote for me, but i can't run anyways. too many of our laws don't make sense because they were made by stupid old people. i'm not a stupid old person (stupid, maybe, old, not a chance)
how often are robots made in america anyway? assuming the robot was actually made in america and not china, it still has to be a certain age before it can run. are robots even allowed to get citizenship?
