There would be a few things to consider- How advanced they are in terms of conversation and response, what kind of maintenance would be required, and I guess appearance would be a factor (not so much "pretty/handsome" as "actually looks like a human"), whether they have a built-in music player. But all in all, most likely. Robots are fascinating.

Absolutely not. Partially because I wouldn't be able to meet anyone like that without the aid of the Internet.
