Firefox Upgrade
I've been using Firefox 2 and was going to upgrade to FF 3, but I wanted to know, will I have to re-install all my add-ons? Will they be compatible with FF3? I use a lot of extensions and search engine plugins...

Re: Firefox Upgrade
Nope.
Most of the add-ons aren't compatible with FF3 yet. But there has been a whole lot in improvements in FF3, most notable being the startup speed.
I'm sticking to FF2 until the gold version releases.

Oh cool. I'll be waiting. Hopefully, the add-ons will be updated too. What about the search engine plugins? Do they need updating? I use a lot of 'em all the time...Google(web,blogs,pics), Ultimate Guitar, Wikipedia, Pirate Bay, Deviant Art, Youtube...

Yes, you should wait for stable version. I'm using beta 5, it's ok but still has some bugs.

The search engine plug ins should work, but as vunguyen said, the latest beta is still buggy. So you should wait till the gold version releases.darkflame91 wrote:What about the search engine plugins? The AFF favicon(in the address bar) merges neatly with the black background.
