Going by my username, I'm sure everyone can guess my favorite character. 
I really like Tobias because I can relate to him. I was a really shy guy in school, often feeling like a loner (truth be told I still am super shy, albeit not as much as I used to be).
Of course, the "being a bird" thing was also really cool

Definitely Jake. He is the leader of the group. Without him, there would be chaos in the group. Also the Animorphs would have died
