Autorun doesn't work :(

So, i've tried atleast three different PC game isos (don't ask me where a got them ), mounting them with Daemon Tools (once, even Alcohol 5X%), and the autorun refuses to work. The ones with a separate visible setup.exe, those don't work either... Any solutions?

Which OS are you using? I vaguely remember Microsoft disabling Autorun by default with a patch on Windows XP (Maybe on Vista and 7 too).

How to enable/disable Autorun (on Windows XP) :

1. Open My Computer.
2. Right-click the desired CD-ROM and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the AutoPlay tab.
4. Select each item from the pulldown list and for the Action to perform, select "Take no action" to disable autorun, or pick the apporpriate action to take if enabling autorun.
5. Select OK.

Take no action? My problem is that it doesn't work! And the method you mentioned isn't exactly what i want, cuz this will simple display different kinds of media, like pics, audio files, video files, and decide which program to run when the CD is inserted. I want the game cd's internal autorun (with opttions like "Install", "ReadMe" etc.) to kick in.

Does the ISO images, when mounted with an optical drive emulation program have any files named autorun.inf in their root? If there is one, post it's contents here, please.
